Hi, I’m Saemi Yoon.

I’m a product designer currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Digital Media & Design at the University of Connecticut, with a focus on UI/UX and interactive media design. Previously, I spent several years across fashion, film, and graphic design, which shaped my versatile perspective on visual storytelling and a critical, product-driven problem-solving mindset.

My current research centers on creating meaningful, human-centered digital experiences that go beyond visual appeal,  aiming to generate positive social impact by addressing real-world issues and supporting diverse communities.

I also leverage interaction, motion, and coding not just as tools, but as a means to communicate design intent, build emotional connections, and create engaging, impactful user journeys.
